About Porto Santo

Porto Santo is Madeira's neighbouring island, 45 minutes away by plane or 2h30 by ferry from Funchal, known as the "golden island" thanks to its 9 km stretch of fine golden sand with therapeutic properties — one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in Europe.
