About Oeiras

Oeiras is a coastal municipality between Lisbon and Cascais, combining modern business districts with a historic seafront. The Marquis of Pombal's 18th-century palace and gardens are a national monument. The seafront promenade from Algés to Paço de Arcos passes several beaches including Santo Amaro and Praia da Torre, with views across the Tagus to the south bank.
