Bordeira is a rural parish in the Aljezur municipality, on the Costa Vicentina, known for Amado Beach — one of Portugal's top surf breaks — and for the village of Carrapateira, with traditional houses, a parish church and the small Sea and Land Museum. The Pontal da Carrapateira and Sítio da Nave trails wind along cliffs and dunes with spectacular views. The parish lies within the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, one of Portugal's last wild coastal strongholds.
